"The ultimate goal of karate-do does not reside in victory or defeat, but it does in the fleurishment of the personality of its followers." -Gichin Funakoshi For those who don't know it Karate is not an olympic sport yet! The main reason?
There are many federations including the two main ones: WKF and ITKF.
The IOC recognises the sports federations that only have one governing body(ex: curlling, beach volleyball, field hockey etc...)
The ratio between the two federations is 80% for the WKF and 20% for the ITKF concerning members.
So let's work together to get our art , our sport to the Olympics where it should be. Please sign this petition : Petition for karate at the olympicsClick on the master ,with respect please!

How do you help? Get involved.(Lance Armstrong is a true warrior and one of my inspirations)
May 21 st 2007 I lost the person who brought me into this world, my mother! This was the bigest, and the worst news i ever got in my life because she was back in Senegal when it happened, my faith in god, my dear wife Émilie and my friends helped me through this difficult period. I have accepted it but i will never fully recover from it, because it feels like one part of me left with her. But i'm going to stay strong and make sure her memory and her teachings are still alive. God blesss you Mom! I will always love you!
